Makinex at the Forefront of Sustainable Energy Solutions with Nominated Design
Makinex, a renowned leader in cutting-edge construction and industrial solutions, is celebrating its twentieth anniversary by introducing the Portable Power Box (PPB) in response to the global demand for clean and environmentally friendly energy.
The PPB, Makinex's latest offering, aims to address the adverse effects of the significant increase in global energy consumption, which has put a strain on the construction industry, with energy expenses reportedly exceeding five percent of project budgets. As diesel prices continue to rise, contractors are actively seeking alternative solutions.
The PPB represents a revolutionary product that combines efficiency, convenience, portability, and durability to provide affordable and sustainable energy solutions.
With a robust output power of eight kilowatts and a storage capacity of 15 kilowatts, the PPB can be fully charged in less than ten hours. Its sturdy frame ensures effortless storage and maneuverability, prioritizing safety through the inclusion of life-saving residual current device (RCD) protection and an ingress protection (IP) rating of 44.
Makinex's energy-efficient innovation is compatible with both 240V mains and solar photovoltaic systems, offering various connection options and enabling safe operation even in confined indoor spaces.
Makinex CEO, John Stewart, envisions the PPB as a game-changer for the construction industry, providing a portable solution that is "noise-free, fuel-free, and emissions-free." Stewart emphasizes that as regulatory bodies tighten restrictions on carbon emissions and customers increasingly demand renewable solutions, the PPB offers accessible and cost-effective ways for businesses, regardless of size, to reduce costs and minimize their environmental impact.
The remarkable design of the PPB has earned Makinex a nomination for the prestigious Innovative Product Awards at this year's World of Concrete event in Las Vegas. Voting commenced on January 8 and will conclude on February 9, with winners announced on February 20.
